Catalog description
Biological causes of motivated behaviors such as sleep, hunger, thirst, fear, aggression, and sexual behavior; how motivated behaviors and related emotional states are organized in brain, as elucidated by electrical and chemical stimulation and ablation of living brain. Three lecture hours, two laboratory hours. This course can be applied toward satisfying the laboratory requirement of the psychology major.
