Catalog description
This is a study in advanced prescription compounding with an emphasis on the techniques, equipment, and excipients required to prepare several different non-sterile dosage forms. Students will develop the hands-on skills necessary to compound personalized capsules, chewable dog treats, troches, and lip balm, among other unique dosage forms. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted to the BGSU/University of Findlay (UF) early assurance Bachelor’s-to-PharmD program; completion of PHAR 3850 .
