History of Pharmacy

Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the history of pharmacy. It describes the roots of the profession but focuses on American pharmacy in the last century. It is especially concerned with the roots of the patient care initiative in pharmacy and the implications those ideas have for the future of the profession. Prerequisite(s): Minimum first professional year (junior) status. Must be accepted into the University of Findlay pharmacy program.
