Catalog description

In this course, the student will identify personal and professional values, life-long learning, ethics, integrity, accountability, professionalism, and philosophy of nursing in the transition to the role of a practicing baccalaureate prepared nurse. The interrelationship among nursing theory, practice, EBP, health policy, federal and state regulations, accrediting bodies, health care policy, and self-care/wellness will be explored in a hybrid classroom. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): First, Second, and Third Semester in Nursing Major. Corequisite(s): Fourth Semester in Nursing Major.
