Population Health Concepts IV

Catalog description

This course involves concepts associated with an individual’s physical health and illness that require nursing care, including oxygenation, perfusion, tissue integrity, cellular regulation, acid-base balance, thermoregulation, immunity, intracranial regulation, and fluid and electrolyte balance. Emphasis is placed on managing care for patients with complex and multi-system health issues. Clinical practice experiences compliment that theories presented in the course.
