Catalog description

Students will explore the concepts of care in individuals who have advanced health problems or complex critical care needs. Students will continue to build upon the principles of EBP, patient-centered care, quality and safe care, disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, social determinants of health, communication, professionalism, delegation, interprofessionalism, teaching and learning, equity, and advocacy. Clinical judgment skills will continue to be fostered in the classroom setting. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): First, Second, and Third Semester in Nursing Major. Corequisite(s): Fourth Semester in Nursing Major.
