Catalog description

This course provides students with a basic framework for health policy analysis and examines major strands of U.S. health policy. It examines the various ways in which the government plays a role in health and in the provision of health care and how health policies can have a profound effect on quality of life. Accessibility, cost, quality of health care, the right to make decisions about our health, are all issues that are vitally tied to health policies. Prerequisite(s): Admission to RN to BSN program and NURS 3028
