Catalog description

This is the third course in a series of four courses on the professional roles and responsibilities of the nurse within the complex healthcare system. Emphasis is on the role of the nurse in population health. Key content includes integration of evidence-based practice, health promotion, disease prevention, and cultural competency in care of communities and populations. Clinical practice experience will provide opportunities to assess and care for communities and populations. Prerequisite(s): NURS 3265 , NURS 3285 Corequisite(s): NURS 4165
