Catalog description

Students will explore concepts of physiological adaptation and management of care in individuals across the lifespan. Principles of EBP, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, QSEN competencies, reduction of risk potential, infection control measures, disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, social determinants of health, therapeutic communication, interprofessionalism, teaching and learning, equity, and advocacy will continue to be explored. Clinical judgment skills will continue to be developed in the classroom setting. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): First and Second Semester in Nursing Major. Corequisite(s): Third Semester in Nursing Major.
