Catalog description

In this course students have an opportunity to explore a unique area of interest related to the care of the older adult patient. The demand for age appropriate care for the older adult patient population is a growing challenge in healthcare. The student will apply basic knowledge about physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing management of the older adult patient. This course will also explore current trends in the care of the older adult as well as legal and ethical issues related to the care of the older adult. Prequisites: NURS 2515 ; NURS 2525 ; NURS 2905 . Prerequisite(s): NURS 2515 ; NURS 2525 ; NURS 2905 .
