Catalog description

Students will explore concepts of physiological adaptation and management of care in individuals across the lifespan. Principles of EBP, patient-centered care, quality and safe care, reduction of risk potential, infection control measures, disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, social determinants of health, therapeutic communication, interprofessionalism, teaching and learning, equity, and advocacy will be explored. Clinical judgment skills will continue to be developed in the clinical and simulation lab setting. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): Junior Level, BSN 1 Courses Corequisite(s): Junior Level, BSN 2 Courses
