Catalog description

Holistic assessment, health promotion, health maintenance, physiological integrity, psychological integrity, cultural, and spiritual needs of individuals and families will be explored. Identification of techniques to assess genetics, developmental stage, environmental considerations, social determinants of health, and emotional needs of diverse populations across the lifespan will be integrated. The student will communicate data via written, verbal, and technological methods. Clinical judgement skills will continue to be developed in the classroom setting. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Nursing major. Corequisite(s): Junior Level, BSN 1 Courses.
