Introduction to Research and EBP in Nursing

Catalog description

In this course, the student will explore evidence-based practice principles to inform decisions in patient care, the nursing profession, and nursing practice. The basic elements of the research process, human subject advocacy, and dissemination of evidence will be explored. The focus will be on the role of the professional nurse in integrating evidence to inform clinical judgment and improve patient outcomes. Approved for distance education.
