Catalog description
The student will learn basic skills associated with the care of individuals across the lifespan. Development of clinical judgement skills will begin in the classroom as students apply evidence-based practice and the nursing process to concepts of physiological integrity including: safety, oxygenation, perfusion, nutrition, elimination, mobility, integument, sensory, and infection control. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Nursing major. Corequisite(s): Junior Level, BSN 1 Courses
