Catalog description

Overview of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) practices for better product design as well as related assembly processes to ensure quality, reduce delivery lead-times, and reduce the production cost. One two-hour lecture and one two-hour laboratory. Prerequisite(s): MME 2700 or permission of instructor.
