Catalog description

Philosophies and methods for using customer needs to design and deliver quality goods and services. Covers design and conformance quality. Topics include quality planning, control, and improvement; voice of the customer and the market; quality design and new product development; six sigma; lean; quality function deployment; failure modes and effects analysis; statistical process control; capability analysis; and reliability. Credit not allowed for this course and MBA 5410. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): BA 2110 and C or better in MGMT 3000 . Admission to the BSBA, General Business minor, or Department Approval.
