Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a course designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the processes and strategies organizations use to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. This course covers key concepts such as risk assessment, risk control, and risk financing, alongside frameworks and standards like ISO 31000 and COSO ERM. Students will explore various types of risks, including strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks, and learn to develop risk management plans that align with organizational objectives. Through case studies, group projects, and practical applications, students will gain hands-on experience in implementing ERM practices, preparing them for careers in risk management and related fields. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the BSBA or General Business, Management, or International Business minor.
