Lighting Design for Interior Environments

Catalog description

Focuses on functional and aesthetic aspects of lighting design, including quantity and quality of light for interior environments. The course enables understanding of the theory of light propagation; behavior of light in specific environments; interaction of light with materials, colors and textures; and enhancement of interior space through appropriate lighting design. It enables a comparative understanding of lighting design by evaluation of lighting in existing interior spaces on and off the BGSU campus. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): ID 2190
