Professional Practices in History

Catalog description

All history majors are required to take HIST 4001 concurrently with another 4000-level course. This course is designed to help the student with the production of the written research paper (or equivalent product) in a 4000-level class, and to guide the student in transforming this product into signature work that demonstrates and integrates the skills and knowledge acquired in the major. The course concludes with a presentation for other history majors and the general public.
