Catalog description

This course will provide the student with a deeper understanding of legal and ethical issues in healthcare. In this course students will explore the legal, ethical, and moral dilemmas currently faced by health and human services professionals, and identify issues related to potential legal liability in the workplace. Practical applications will be introduced through case study analysis and the examination of various legal and ethical aspects of health care. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 1010 , WRIT 1110 or WRIT 1120
