Introductory Field Experiences in Grades 4 and 5

Catalog description

Summer. Teacher candidates earning the BGSU Early Childhood Education Generalist Endorsement for Grades 4 and 5 complete 50 hours of contact with students in educational settings in grades 4 and 5. Credit cannot be earned for both HDFS 4505 and HDFS 5505. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): Teacher candidates must be currently enrolled in an early childhood teacher preparation program as a junior or higher and must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, or must currently hold an Early Childhood teaching license. Credit cannot be earned for both HDFS 4505 and HDFS 5505.
