Catalog description

Introduction to, and hands-on field experience in, the fundamentals of studio-based business operations. Project based course work in a graphic design studio model utilizing collaborative team structures and community-based and/or service learning projects. Practical application of design thinking skills and knowledge. Supplemented by field trips, guest lecturers, reading, research, and ongoing project responsibilities. May be repeated to 6 credit hours. Maximum of 6 credit hours may be applied to Studio Art Support. Extra fee. Prerequisite(s): GDSN 2010 or GDSN 2015
