Catalog description

Introduction to structuring information for singular and multi-page content, sequencing, pacing, storytelling and data visualization. Further exploration of typographic tools, techniques and terminology in digital and print formats. Continued study and development of principles of type and image, design thinking, visual communication theory, critical thinking; oral, visual, and cognitive communication/presentation and conceptualization skills. Five studio hours. Extra fee. Prerequisite(s): C or higher in GDSN 2015 ; or permission of instructor. Corequisite(s): Concurrently taken with GDSN 2020 ; or permission of instructor.
