This course is designed to explore four emerging and quickly evolving topics: Women’s entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, the ever-changing non-profit sector, and essentials of corporate social responsibility. First, students will study creating, navigating and sustaining female owned businesses and social entrepreneurs. Second, the student will explore the fundamentals of the non-profit sector and compare similarities and differences with for-profit entities. The third topic investigates the innovative and unregulated field of corporate responsibility. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): C or better in ESHP 1010 .
