Fall. Approaches to support the development of emerging reading, writing, and language skills for all young children. Informal assessments, classroom environments, developmentally appropriate teaching for pre-K through third grade. Theoretical perspectives and differentiated instruction regarding print awareness, motivation, oral language development, and comprehension of fictional text. Credit cannot be earned for both EIEC 2130 and EIEC 3130. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Advanced Studies in Inclusive Early Childhood. Corequisite(s): EIEC 3100 , EIEC 3110 , EIEC 3120 , EIEC 3140 , and EIEC 3150 .
