Catalog description

Small group instruction seminars and high-impact tutoring field experiences for education majors designed to further develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for successful teaching. Focal areas: ethics, professionalism, effective teaching practices, classroom management, and professional development. Students attend campus classes, as well as field placements throughout the semester. S/U only. Transportation required. Prerequisite(s): Admission to a teacher education major; requires FBI and BCI background checks valid for a full year.
