K-5 Inclusive Seminar and Practicum

Catalog description

Fall/Spring. K-5 Inclusive Seminar and field experience, with supporting class sessions, will develop skills needed for effective teaching of all young children in inclusive kindergarten or primary grade classrooms. Students will advance their competencies in meeting the needs of every child in a classroom by working in an intervention specialist focused placement. Students attend campus classes, as well as full-day field placements throughout the semester. S/U only. Transportation required. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Inclusive PreK-5 Education program; requires FBI and BCI background checks valid for a full year.
