Cultural and Linguistic Diversity in Early Childhood Education

Catalog description

Focus on theories, working in education settings with children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds to support educational involvement and achievement. Includes field experience opportunities to observe and assist in inclusive early community based agencies or early childhood classrooms, preschool-grade 5. Prerequisite(s): PrerC or better in EDTL 2010 and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
