Catalog description

Fall, Spring. Professional teaming for consultation and collaboration in service planning and delivery to students with exceptional needs in preschool-grade 5. Considers teaming models, cooperative and co-teaching models, home and classroom based consultation and collaboration strategies. Addresses transition theory and planning. Includes field experience opportunities to observe and assist in inclusive early community based agencies or early childhood classrooms, preschool-grade 5. Transportation required. Credit cannot be earned for both EIEC 4220 and EIEC 2200. Prerequisite(s): C or better in EDTL 2010 & EIEC 2500 and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Corequisite(s): EIEC 2210 , EIEC 2220 , and EIEC 2140 .
