Fall. Research in mathematics education for the middle grades. Curricular and instructional trends, national and state models, team teaching, use of technology. Field hours embedded in EDTL 4180 . Must obtain minimum grade of C prior to EDTL 4920 . Transportation required. Extra fee. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in MATH 4150 and EDTL 3450 ; admission to middle childhood program.
