Transdisciplinary STEAM Pedagogies

Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth study of transdisciplinary learning through science, technology, engineering, the arts/humanities, and mathematics (STEAM) for 4th-9th grade teachers. Emphasis will be placed on theoretical approaches, transdisciplinary pedagogies and practices, project-based learning, and middle childhood/adolescent and young adult content knowledge needed to plan, implement, and assess transdisciplinary learning experiences aligned with the Ohio Learning Standards. Approved for Distance Ed. Prerequisite(s): Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
