Cohort Seminar 6

Catalog description

In EDSE 3006, students will learn about categories of disability under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The emphasis in Cohort Seminar 6 will be on categories of disability that are typically categorized as moderate/intensive (i.e., students spend most of their day in self-contained classrooms). This emphasis will allow students to make connections between learner characteristics/supports and field placements in moderate/intensive elementary and secondary classrooms during Cohort Seminar 6. Approved for distance education.
