Cohort Seminar 4

Catalog description

In EDSE 3004, students will learn about categories of disability under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The emphasis in Cohort Seminar 4 will be on categories of disability that are typically categorized as mild/moderate (i.e., students spend at least part of their day in general education classrooms). This emphasis will allow students to make connections between learner characteristics/supports and the field placement in mild/moderate elementary and secondary classrooms connected to Cohort Seminar 4. Approved for distance education.
