Catalog description

Renewable energy systems such as those that use solar energy, wind, wave energy, bioenergy and fuel cells. The course discusses how the energy that is generated can be conserved with systems such as electric and hybrid vehicles. It encourages students to think critically about how our energy is generated and consumed and how it effects the environment and the economy. Three hours lecture.
