Catalog description

Advance topics in sonography including: pediatric abdomen, neonatal brain, breast, vascular imaging, muscular skeletal, and transplanted organs. Students will review the necessary sterile technique preceding invasive and intraoperative procedures and learn the applications of contrast agents in ultrasound. Other imaging techniques will be discussed as well as the principles guiding the field of sonography. Two hours lecture.
