Catalog description

An overview of the philosophies, principles and practices of diagnostic medical sonography. The role of the sonographer in an imaging department and the introduction of other imaging modalities along with basic bioeffects, scope of practice and professional interaction skills are presented. Emphasis is on professionalism, prevention of muscular skeletal injuries, sonographic vocabulary, proper annotation and image orientation. One hour lecture.
