Fall, Spring. This course is the second in a series of jazz dance technique, emphasizing increased technical and performance levels with the addition of popular dance forms such as street funk and hip hop dance styles. Rhythmic complexity, improvisation, and the history of jazz and popular dance forms are emphasized. May be repeated up to six credit hours.
