Covers cybersecurity threat and vulnerability assessment and remediation from a defensive point of view. Threat assessments are employed to select the appropriate controls to secure a network or system. Includes using tools for environmental and network reconnaissance and the application of techniques to minimize their impact. Aligns to the CompTIA CySA+ certification objectives. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): CST 2100 or permission of instructor.
