Examination of architectures and considerations related to designing, securing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise networks. Covers wide area network (WAN) technologies and quality of service (QOS) mechanisms. It also introduces software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks. This course is the third course leading to Cisco CCNA certification. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): CST 1420 or permission of instructor.
