Study of chemical principles through investigation of environmental phenomena and problems. Topics vary, but may include ozone depletion, global warming, traditional and renewable energy sources, and various forms of atmospheric and aquatic pollution. Not applicable to the chemistry major or minor. Prerequisite(s): Open only to Freshman students.
