Catalog description
This course provides a contemporary analysis of the complete genomes of organisms. Cutting-edge bioinformatic tools and comprehensive databases will be utilized to study the genetics, biochemistry, evolution and biological diversity of organisms and populations at the genome level. Suitable for students interested in biology, forensic science and health allied careers. Three one-hour lectures. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 3500
