Catalog description

The use of basic ecological principles as a basis for conservation of biological diversity. Focus on the underlying ecological concepts, current techniques utilized in the field, problem-solving approaches and the issues encountered when trying to conserve natural systems in a human-dominated landscape. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2040 ; BIOL 3500 , BIOL 3540 , and BIOL 4090 recommended.
