Catalog description

This course introduces the principles and practices of effective data visualization for business applications. Students learn how to transform raw data into compelling visual narratives that support analysis, decision-making, and communication. Topics include data wrangling, basic and advanced visualization methods, design principles, and the development of both static and interactive graphics. Using software tools, students gain hands-on experience creating visualizations and dashboards that emphasize clarity, accuracy, and storytelling. Real-world datasets and case studies are used to illustrate applications across business and related fields. Prerequisite(s): C or better in BA 2120 or equivalent
