Catalog description

This course qualifies students to design, construct, and repair ceramic kilns. Emphasis is on real-world problem-solving strategies related to common kiln types. Students are expected to demonstrate both theoretical and practical knowledge of the concepts of kiln design and construction. Student will complete projects in kiln design, construction repair, and firing. Extra fee. Prerequisite(s): ARTS 2710 or permission of instructor.
