Catalog description

This class uses hot, warm, and cold glass applications to investigate experimental and innovative approaches to utilizing glass as an artistic medium. Topics exploring performativity, process, social practice, systems and installation will invite students to explore the potential of glass within a wide spectrum of artistic practices. Students will research scientific and contemporary art utilization’s of glass to inform and inspire the creation of entirely artworks utilizing glass. Five studio hours. Three credit hours. Prerequisite(s): ARTS 2610 .
