Catalog description
Focuses on the application of the core components of nursing practice to the care of childbearing families. Illustrates the four competencies of nursing practice including human flourishing, nursing judgment, professional identity, and spirit of inquiry and Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN). Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Lab/Clinical: 1 credit (45 contact hours).

Dates announced on 1st day of class. Students taking both NSG 211 and NSG 229 should enroll in the same clinical/lab section of each course (NSG 211-15C1 and NSG 229-15C1 or NSG 211-15C2 and NSG 229-15C2). Enrolling in a 1501-15C1 Course will place you in a Monday afternoon Lab day and a Clinical Day TBA. Meeting day/times are subject to change secondary to clinical site availability.
