Catalog description

Examines the study of human cultural variation in contemporary societies using concepts and methods of cultural anthropology. Examines shared human needs and cultural practices across global and local contexts. Develops awareness of cultural assumptions, social classification systems, and their influence on perception and interaction in modern societies. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
