Catalog description
This course introduces students to the concepts and techniques of visual literacy. It explores a full spectrum of man-made visual forms encountered by contemporary Americans from Architecture and works of art to graphic novels, advertisements, television programs and films, photos and the internet. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
