Catalog description
Covers essential computer-aided design (CAD) skills from basic interfaces to advanced 3D modeling and rendering. Demonstrate an understanding of 2D sketching, 3D modeling, assembly design, surface modeling, texturization, and visualization techniques. Emphasizes industry standards, best practices, additive manufacturing, and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in CAD. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
