Introduces the role of veterinary technicians in veterinary practice. Includes medical terminology, ethics, professionalism, and basic concepts of patient care. Lecture 3 hours per week. Laboratory 3 hours per week. Total 6 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
